Beginning his career in 1978 as an Indiana State Police trooper\, he rose through the ranks\, holding key positions in training\, logistics\, and counter-terrorism preparedness. In 2009\, he transitioned to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office\, where he has since served in multiple leadership roles\, including Deputy Chief of Homeland Security and now Executive Officer of MCSO. \nWilliams holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Martin University and has completed elite training programs\, including the FBI National Academy and Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. His commitment to community service is evident in his involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation\, the Indiana Black Troopers Association\, and child abuse prevention initiatives.
